Lisa knows what it’s like to show up relying on her line to Type 1 the Perfectionist/Reformer which is where Type 7 goes in Stress. She has had to work hard to learn to experience the benefits of Type 5 The Observer which is where Type 7 goes in Security. Neither line is good nor bad; Enneagram expert Suzanne Stabile uses the following metaphor to help us accept our line influence: “if you are falling from a tree, the first branch you grab is your Stress line. It helps you, so it’s good.”
