Shayla D. Walker has over 10 years of experience in the areas of team building, career counseling, advising, conflict management, leadership development, diversity, equity and inclusion. She received both her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Media Communication and Masters of Arts in Higher Education Leadership at CSU Sacramento.
She has provided innovative workshops and individual coaching to professional employees at Fresno Unified School District, American River College, Sierra College, San Joaquin Delta College, Sacramento State and presented at various leadership conferences throughout Northern California.
Shayla’s passion is encouraging individuals to be confident, inspired and joyful about their work using empathy as a framework. Her favorite pastime is singing karaoke, binge watching movies on Netflix and spending quality time with family and friends.
