Andrea Stunz is back to have a deep conversation with us about the leadership value of Resilience.

Andrea is a well-traveled, born-and-raised Texan who longs for adventure – especially if it requires a passport. As a Christ-following sojourner, she is a lover of stories and a connoisseur of sunrises and coffee – best when served up together. When she’s not supporting others by editing and mentoring, she can be found writing or spending time with the joys of her life, her grandchildren.
We discussed what the dictionary identifies Resilience to be and Andrea shared some personal stories to help us understand how Resilience is developed. We also discussed what keeps Andrea moving forward when tough things happen in life. Andrea shared helpful reminders for us from the Bible:
John 16:33 In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world.
1 Cor 16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
Andrea also mentioned a resource for us to look into, the book Path to Resilience
In our conversation I mentioned extensive research as to how Resilience is developed in our early years through high school that has been compiled over decades of study by the Search Institute. If you’re interested you can check it out through their website.
